Qualified doctors and students from different areas and institutions assisted in carrying out the whole process. The staff at Essa Lab volunteered to provide their services as well.
During the event, a prominent parliamentary figure visited the site and was thrilled by the positive impact of YES Alumni all over the country. She mentioned how these projects aimed at public health and awareness are taking the country forward one step at a time.
Dr. Arsalan, who volunteered his services as a physician said, “I feel nothing but blessed to be here and take part in assisting the community. If it wasn’t about the positive message that your team (YES Alumni) is spreading around, I would not have been here”.
After 7 hours of tremendous efforts and positivity, the first phase of the camp came to an end around 4pm. Refreshments were provided for the staff and the Alumni team. 450+ patients smiled at and prayed for the team as they went home happily. The Alumni will run the same project tomorrow as the 2nd phase where another 500+ will be provided with the same facilities.
